1. Paradigm

Paradigm is an AI learning platform that builds a personal course around any goal, free to start with name-your-price tuition. You bring material, such as slides, a PDF, a photo of a page or a link, or you just type what you want to learn. It splits that into lessons with guided practice and an AI notebook.
The useful part is memory: it rewrites the path around what you already know and picks up where the last session stopped.
It ranks first because it has by far the most Product Hunt upvotes here, serves both students and self-learners, and costs nothing to start.
Best for: a college student reviewing for an exam, or anyone studying for a career skill, coding, a language, or a test like the SAT or GRE.
Skip it if: you need a certificate to show an employer. Nothing in the listing mentions one, so Build Club is the better fit for that.
Pricing: free to start, then name-your-price tuition, where you decide what the learning is worth. Per Launch Llama listing; no public pricing page was found.
What stood out: 901 upvotes on Product Hunt after its July 19, 2026 launch, and 93 days listed on Launch Llama.
Limitation: it works in English, Spanish and Simplified Chinese only.
2. Honen

Honen is a course builder for teams that turns internal documents into AI-led training, with team plans from $20 per seat a month. Upload docs, recordings, videos or notes, describe what people should learn, and edit the draft outline, lessons and quizzes by chat before you publish.
Learners get quizzes, cards and a voice or text tutor. If you already run an LMS, Honen delivers into it through LTI, SCORM or cmi5.
Best for: an HR or training lead whose onboarding material goes stale every time a process changes.
Skip it if: you are a solo learner on a budget. There is no free plan.
Pricing: Team is $20 per seat a month with a 10-seat minimum, so $200 a month to start; Enterprise is custom, and a free trial is offered (length not stated). Checked Oct 30, 2026. The Launch Llama listing still mentions a 5-seat minimum.
What stood out: 535 upvotes on Product Hunt for its June 14, 2026 launch, the second most on this list.
Limitation: no free plan, and the 10-seat minimum makes it a poor fit for very small teams.
3. Build Club

Build Club is an AI learning community where professionals take short lessons and earn certificates, free on its Campus platform. Courses follow role-based paths, and members also get in-person events and job matching. A company program adds team training and adoption tracking.
Best for: a young professional or freelancer who wants AI certifications and people to learn with.
Skip it if: you are studying a school subject. Everything here is about AI.
Pricing: lessons, courses and certifications are free on Campus. Pricing for the company program is not stated by the vendor. Per Launch Llama listing.
What stood out: 161 upvotes on Product Hunt after its July 5, 2026 launch.
Limitation: the price of the enterprise program is not published, so teams have to ask.
4. Glyphi

Glyphi is a speed reading app for Apple devices that flashes text one word at a time, with a free version and Premium from $4.99 a month. Import a book, PDF or web page and tune the speed; summaries are made on the device, so files stay private.
Best for: a student with a heavy reading list of textbooks and papers.
Skip it if: you use Android or Windows, or your reading is full of diagrams and formulas, which a one-word display cannot show.
Pricing: free for up to five saved readings at up to 550 words a minute. Premium costs $4.99 a month or $39.99 a year and lifts the cap to unlimited imports and 1,200 words a minute. Checked Oct 30, 2026.
What stood out: 91 upvotes on Product Hunt after its August 6, 2026 launch, the newest Product Hunt launch here.
Limitation: it needs iOS 18, macOS 15 on an M1 Mac or later, or visionOS 2.
5. Learnr

Learnr is an AI course generator that builds a gamified course on any topic from one prompt, free to start. Type chess, finance or history and you get short lessons with practice, XP, streaks and a leaderboard.
Best for: an adult who keeps starting hobbies and needs a streak to keep going.
Skip it if: you already have your own course material to study from. Paradigm builds from uploads; Learnr starts from a prompt.
Pricing: free with daily usage limits; Learnr Pro raises the limits, but its price is not stated by the vendor. Checked Oct 30, 2026.
What stood out: 38 upvotes on Launch Llama, and it is the only tool here that was not a Product Hunt launch.
Limitation: the free plan's daily limits and the Pro price are both unpublished.
How to choose
If you want to study a subject on your own, start with Paradigm. If you need training for a team, Honen is the only tool here built for it, but budget for at least 10 seats. For AI skills plus a community, use Build Club; if reading speed holds you back, try Glyphi. On a tight budget, every tool except Honen has a free way in. Skip this list entirely if you need an accredited degree or a live teacher. Otherwise, browse more Education tools on Launch Llama.
Alternatives not listed
Duolingo is still simpler if your goal is a language. Coursera may suit you better if you want courses made by universities and companies rather than generated by AI.
What Launch Llama's data shows
Four of the five picks are 2026 Product Hunt launches: Paradigm leads with 901 upvotes, followed by Honen with 535, Build Club with 161 and Glyphi with 91. Learnr has 38 on Launch Llama. None has saves or reviews in the directory yet, so upvotes are the only traction signal.

How I chose these
I reviewed 12 Product Hunt listings and the 45 most-upvoted community listings in Launch Llama's Education category; there are no premium Education listings right now. I kept tools that clearly serve students, self-learners or team training, with real screenshots, substantive listings and, for Product Hunt tools, a launch in the last 180 days. That ruled out older launches like ChatPal and Socra, thin listings like Scribble Party, and AIEasyStudy, whose site would not render for a screenshot. These picks are based on listing data, launch traction and pricing pages; none of them were tested hands-on.
